Suubi is a luganda word to mean hope
Who We Are
Suubi creative store is a sustainable business under the Suubi Creatives Impact program. We make fashionable clothes, crafts, and accessories with a piece of African fabric and styles. The products that we sell are made by young people that we work with in the Creative Impact projects.
Suubi Creative Impact social enterprise aims at bringing hope and dignity, and solving problems in our communities through creativity, we impact the most vulnerable and less privileged young people in the slums in Kampala, under-reached communities, and communities affected by high rates of teenage pregnancy through creativity; by doing hands on skilling to make crafts, accessories, fashion work, creative discovery sessions etc. Not to create another charity but a movement of sustainable solution to the most vulnerable.

Team Leader/founder
Cyrus Esunget is our team leader, he brings professional leadership skills with the team everyday they come in to work. He has done a key part of assuring we provide high quality and most fashionable products, It’s hard to imagine where we’d be without our trusted team leadership.

Ass Team leader / chairperson
We’re so lucky to have such a wonderful fashion designer as part of our staff. She has proved to be a wonderful administrator as well. When fiona katusabe joined us, we knew we made a terrific staffing decision, and we haven’t been disappointed since.

OUR PROJECT
Suubi Creatives Impact is a social enterprise that exist as community based organisations in the slums in Kampala, under reached communities and communities affected by high rates of teenage pregnancy in Uganda, from where we impact the most vulnerable and less privileged young people through creativity by doing; hands on skilling to make crafts, accessories, fashion work, creative discovery sessions etc. not to create another charity but a movement of sustainable solution that empowers and brings hope and dignity to the most vulnerable and solves problems in our communities.

Suubi's main fashion store is located in Kampala, with other
small fashion stalls in different places where the fashion impact projects operate.
OUR VISION
To empower more than five hundred less privileged young people mostly teenage mothers so that they influence the communities they live in, by solving problem. thereby bringing hope, dignity and creating a dramatic reduction of teenage pregnancy.
